Please note the bedroom with the bunk beds is smaller and is accessed via the kitchen. The Villa is perfect for an away from it all holiday. Guests who want to recharge their batteries will find it an idyllic haven, and have been known not to leave its tranquillity and seclusion except to buy food and delight in the local restaurants. For those in search of a more active holiday, the region has plenty to offer. The special location of this villa makes it equally suitable for romantic and family holidays. The magnificent 9m*4.5m swimming pool has been totally refurbished in 2008, with splendid views of the green hills and sea; the new electric security cover keeps the water warm and clean. The location is what makes this enchanting house so special, set above cliff tops plunging into the sea, 200m from the beach. Soak in the view, whether from inside through large picture windows, from its private terraces, from the magnificently restored swimming pool... To the front is the sea, the beautiful bay of Portinho de Arrabida, and beyond to where the Sado River meets the Atlantic Ocean. Cruisers, fishing boats and yachts pass as if at your feet below the cliffs. To your back are the imposing mountains of the Arrabida National Park, and the mystical Convent of Arrabida with its five towers. The light is ever-changing, with sunsets spectacular. Starry nights on the terrace are magical; the villa owes its name to these nights, "Villa Little Star" in Portuguese. The villa is one of few in the natural park of Arrabida, established to protect the beautiful landscape and rich variety of wildlife, including eagles, wildcats and badgers. The name Arrabida originates from Arabic and means place of prayer. The mountains are ideal for walks, and organized excursions can be organised with the local nature tour companies.

Villa, golf, garden, fireplace, air-conditioning, kitchen, heating, balcony Quinta do Peru was recently ranked 57th out of the top 100 European golf courses and yet is still a well kept secret. It is unusual when playing to have anyone else in sight, it's that quiet! The house was one of the first built on the  course and is in arguably the best position at the highest point of the course with fantastic uninterrupted views of the Arrábida hills and the castle just above Sesimbra .  There is a pool with a cover that is child safe. The garden is large (the plot is 2,500m2), completely fenced and mature with automatic irrigation. There is a clubhouse with a bar and restaurant, 2  driving ranges and a pro shop. The complex is gated with a 24 hour 'porteiro'. The nearest town is Quinta do Conde and Azeitão is  also close. This area is famous for its wines and 'Muscatel'. The Figueirinha and Portinho da Arrábida beaches are 15 minutes away, Meco 20 minutes. Lisbon airport is 30 minutes away and Lisbon town centre 25 minutes. Setbal is 15 minutes away. The independent villa, with a living area of 500 m², comprises 6 bedrooms (3 doubles, 2 twins, 1 single), 4 bathrooms (2 of them en suite), 1 shower room, 1 guest WC, living room with open fire place, TV room, dining room siting 8 persons, a fully equipped kitchen, balcony, partially shaded terrace and garden furniture, private swimming pool, BBQ, garden and parking place.   The swimming pool has a child safe cover (providing it is closed) that retracts at the touch of a button.   The garden is mature with an automated irrigation system. No maid service included in the price.  If required, maid service is available during your stay at a cost of EUR 9 per hour. Long term rentals available. Breakage deposit on arrival: EUR 500, - Sleeps 11 persons, self catering.
